Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an empathetic and resilient individual to manage a caseload of students who are currently not attending or engaging with school due to emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). You will provide vital educational and pastoral support to students and their families, with the ultimate aim of facilitating a successful re-integration into school life. Experience supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), mental health challenges, or EBSA is preferred. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits is required. In the role as Attendance Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Principal and Attendance Manager to ensure excellent whole school attendance and reduce gaps within the attendance of key sub-groups.
