They will act as the first point of contact and will be required to deal with all enquiries in a professional, sensitive and timely manner. The post holder will be expected to work accordingly to ensure an effective cross-cutting administrative support function is provided to colleagues across the network. Furthermore, the post holder will be required to act as the Personal Assistant to the RRDN Directors providing an effective and efficient administrative support function. The post holder will work closely with the Y&H RRDN Directors, providing efficient and effective administrative support to enable the RRDN Management Group, Research Delivery Partner Organisations and wider Network colleagues to support the effective delivery of the RRDN strategic aims. The Senior Administrators will be required to support setup and maintain robust office management systems and processes, whilst providing a personal assistant function to the RRDN Directors. Why you should join our Team The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) has 12 Regional Research Delivery Networks across the U.K. These work with the national Coordinating Centre (RDNCC) and the Department of Health and Social Care to provide a joint RDN leadership function via the RDN Board, so that the NIHR RDN operates as a single, transparent organisation with a shared vision and purpose. Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is the Host Organisation for the Yorkshire and Humber RRDN region. The RDN supports the effective and efficient initiation and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England for the benefit of patients, the health and care system and the economy. What you will bring to the role The post holder will work closely with the Y&H RRDN Directors, providing efficient and effective administrative support to enable the RRDN Management Group, Research Delivery Partner Organisations and wider Network colleagues to support the effective delivery of the RRDN strategic aims.
