We are delighted to be recruiting a

Principal Teacher (Early Years) to join our established Early Learning and Childcare team. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and dynamic and can work as part of our team to support local authority and funded provider settings across Aberdeenshire to ensure we deliver quality ELC provision and raise standards.

You will work collaboratively with ELC staff and management teams across Aberdeenshire promoting learning and teaching of the highest quality to maximise the attainment of all pupils. You will support settings progress their aims and targets as set out in their improvement plans.

You must have experience of working with early years children and their families and have an excellent knowledge of current national and local policies and procedures including ‘Realising the Ambition’ and ‘The National Standards’ and 'ELC Quality Improvement Framework.'

To fulfil this role, you will require to hold current full driving licence and have a car available, whenever required, in order to undertake the full range of duties of the post.

Please note that this role will be supporting settings across Central Aberdeenshire

Please note that the grade for this position may be subject to change. Promoted Teaching Posts that meet the criteria will be resized on an annual basis, in line with the SNCT Handbook. Any grade change will be effective from 1st August each year.
