Summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Redruth / Bodmin

Hybrid Working

Permanent Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business delivering refurbishment and new build projects valued up to £5 million.

Requirements

HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction

Experience in Quantity Surveying and Estimating within refurbishment and new build sectors

Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

Experience managing project financials, CVRs and forecasting

Excellent Excel and IT skills

Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

CSCS Card

Full UK Driving Licence

Key Responsibilities

Producing tenders, estimates and Bills of Quantities

Managing project costs, CVRs and financial forecasting

Coordinating bids and ensuring compliance requirements are met

Negotiating supply chain and subcontractor pricing

Managing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Supporting business growth and commercial success

Maintaining high Health, Safety and Environmental standards
