Summary

A Vacancy at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We have exciting opportunities in the Department of Oncology at Trust Grade ST1/ST2 level (SHO equivalent).

The post is available from 5 August 2026 for a period of one year. This post is full time with on-call commitments.

The post holder will have the same education and training opportunities provided to trainees, with the same study leave benefits and will form part of an existing, supportive multi-disciplinary team in our world renowned oncology services.

It is essential that candidates have core competencies of Foundation Year Two, GMC registration with a licence to practice, evidence of working in an NHS environment and with relevant experience in internal medicine and haemato/oncology. Good team working skills and an excellent command of English are also essential.

The candidate will have achieved all FY2 competencies to enable them to carry out a range of tasks including history taking, examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making, safe prescribing and medical record-keeping etc.
