Summary

About the Team

Our newly restructured Maternity Education Team delivers a comprehensive portfolio of services designed to support learning, professional development, and clinical excellence across all levels ofmaternity practice. The expanded team will provide expertise and leadership across:

Undergraduate education – supporting student midwives and other healthcare learners throughout their clinical placements and educational journeys.Postgraduate education and professional development – facilitating learning opportunities, continuing professional development, preceptorship programmes, career progression pathways, and advanced practice development.

Fetal Wellbeing Services – delivering high-quality education, training, competency assessment, and ongoing support to ensure excellence in fetal surveillance and fetal wellbeing practice.

Workforce development and quality improvement initiatives – helping to shape a highly skilled, competent, and confident maternity workforce.
