Summary

Painter & Decorator

Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas 

Salary: £150 - £180 Per day (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Projects dependant 

Contract: Contract

Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing property maintenance and refurbishment company based in Bournemouth, who are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Working across a variety of residential and commercial projects, you will be responsible for completing decorating works to a high standard while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities of the Painter & Decorator:

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling and priming

• Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to a high standard

• Carrying out both internal and external decorating works

• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail

• Protecting furniture, fixtures and surrounding areas before commencing work

• Carrying out minor repair work to walls, ceilings and woodwork where required

• Maintaining tools, equipment and materials in good working order

• Working independently or as part of a team across multiple sites

• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional appearance on site

What we're looking for from the Painter and Decorator:

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator within residential or commercial environments

• A high standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail

• Good knowledge of painting techniques, preparation methods and decorating materials

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude

• Full UK driving licence preferred

• CSCS card desirable but not essential
