Summary

Vehicle Prep Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Grimsby

Pay rate: £16.05 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks (dependent on work ethic and progression on site)

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (shift rotation)

Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm

The Role

GI Group are recruiting for a Vehicle Prep Operative to join their clients busy, fast-paced site in Grimsby. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, follows processes, and is keen to progress - with the chance of a permanent role after 12 weeks for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing vehicles to the required standard before they move to the next stage

Completing basic checks and reporting any damage/defects

Moving vehicles safely around site (where applicable)

Working to targets while maintaining quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

Previous vehicle prep experience is required

Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done

Reliable, punctual and able to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off basis

A team player with a positive work ethic

Full UK driving licence, held for 2 years with 0 points or endorsements (existing points can be discussed and accepted, subject to code)

22 years of age and over due to insurance
