Summary
Are you a confident and experienced Nursery Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a successful early years setting in Guildford?
Winner Education are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee a well-established nursery in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early years education while supportingand developing a high-performing team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can inspire staff, build positive relationships with families, and drive continuous improvement throughout the setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of nursery practitioners and support staff
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining a safe and engaging environment
- Monitor occupancy levels and support the growth and success of the setting
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community
- Support staff training, development, and performance management
- Promote high-quality teaching, learning, and care across the nursery
- Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Passion for early years education and child development
