Summary
The Role:
• To support a 9-year-old child who is autistic, non – verbal and has global developmental delay. Extremely sensitive to noise and environmental stimulation, PICA behaviours and sensory needs to access the community and activities to enable main support to have a break.
Main Duties:
• Support with accessing the community
• Support with activities
• Support with limited awareness of danger
• Support to spend time in a calm environment
• Support to build confidence and independence
• Support to spend time with adults to support with transitions into education
