Meet Elizabeth:
Elizabeth is a fun, loving, adventurous 9-year-old who finds joy in the simple things in life- splashing through puddles, playing with water and sand, watching her favourite YouTube videos, exploring local parks, going swimming, heading to gymnastics or setting off on a spontaneous car journey just to see where the day takes her.
Life with Elizabeth is barley predictable and that’s exactly how she likes it. One day you might be exploring an adventure playground, the next you could be enjoying a quieter day at home with her favourite activities. Everyday is shaped by how Elizabeth is feeling and what has captured her interest that day.
Elizabeth is a bright and determined young girl who communicates using a mix of words, her PODD book and technology. She is looking for a Female Personal Assistant who can get to know her way of communicating, support her to stay safe and most importantly, help her to enjoy the things she loves.
What you will be doing:
• Exploring parks, playground and local activities
• Supporting Elizabeth to access swimming and gymnastics
• Encouraging communication and engagement
• Helping with personal care when required
• Providing supervision and support to keep Elizabeth safe
• Assisting with mobility support, including pushing her wheelchair when required to help her stay comfortable and enjoy longer outings
• Be a positive fun Presence in her day-day life

Hours and rate of pay:
• Hours: 16 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed)
• Rate of pay: £13.60 per hour
