About the role

We are seeking a Health & Wellbeing Assistant to support our Occupational Health Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective administration of Occupational Health and employee wellbeing services across the Partnership. Working closely with our Occupational Health Nurse, wider People & Culture Team, managers, and employees, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to help deliver a professional, efficient and confidential service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging appointments, supporting wellbeing initiatives and cross-campus events, producing correspondence, and ensuring all occupational health processes are completed accurately and within required timescales. They will also liaise with external agencies and make external referrals when required.

The role will involve liaising with employees and managers regarding occupational health appointments, wellbeing support services and health-related processes, while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.

The position will involve some cross-campus travel, and the successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will be able to work on your own initiative, demonstrate attention to detail, and provide outstanding customer service to a wide range of stakeholders.

Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, and experience within occupational health, healthcare, wellbeing, HR, or a related setting would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
