Summary

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated individual eager to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team on a 14-bed adult inpatient eating disorder ward.

What You’ll Do:

Work as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor within a specialist inpatient eating disorders service

Support Occupational Therapists in delivering person-centred interventions and share relevant feedback about service users and carers

Engage service users in therapeutic activities such as cooking, shopping, social eating and relaxation, delivered in groups or individually

Plan and prepare sessions while remaining flexible to meet individual needs and preferences

Use effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Maintain accurate, timely clinical records

Work as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver coordinated, supportive care

Demonstrate a good understanding of eating disorders, mental health, and occupational therapy
