Summary

A Vacancy at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The Senior Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy trauma and orthopaedic service. The post holder will be involved in the assessment and management of patients across elective and emergency pathways, including outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and ward care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, they will contribute to service development, clinical governance, and the supervision and teaching of junior staff. The role provides an opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills and gain broad experience in trauma and orthopaedics within a supportive teaching hospital environment

The post holder will provide high-quality care across trauma and orthopaedic services, including the assessment and management of patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Duties include participation in ward rounds, clinics, and theatre sessions, as well as supporting the on-call trauma rota. The role involves working closely within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to teaching and supervision of junior staff, and engaging in clinical governance, audit, and service improvement activities
