About the Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you'll help create a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues while protecting the store against theft and loss. Full training and induction are provided.
Key Responsibilities
-Patrol the shop floor as a visible security presence.
-Monitor CCTV and electronic security systems.
-Deter and prevent theft and anti-social behaviour.
-Respond to incidents professionally and safely.
-Complete incident reports accurately.
-Work closely with store management and local police where required.
-Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards.
Requirements
-Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to remain calm under pressure.
-Previous retail security experience is desirable but not always essential.
-Five-year checkable employment history.
