Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Van Technician to join our client's reputable service centre in Gillingham, Kent. This is a vital role within a well-established dealership, offering stability, career development, and competitive remuneration. Duties of a Van Technician:

- Provide technical diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles

- Complete vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Maintain high levels of technical expertise through manufacturer training programmes

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards

- Assist in achieving customer satisfaction and dealership productivity targets as a Van Technician

- Uphold manufacturer and company quality procedures at all times

Requirements of a Van Technician:

- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair

- Full UK driving licence

- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, preferably with light commercial vehicles (LCV)

- MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential

- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude

- Prior experience within a franchised dealership environment is advantageous
