Summary

We are recruiting for the position of Parts Advisor at a reputable car dealership in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a well-established dealership, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient department operations.

- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis

Duties of a Parts Advisor:

- Assisting the Parts Manager with daily departmental responsibilities

- Providing excellent customer service to retail and workshop clients

- Handling incoming calls promptly and professionally

- Reconciling and processing stock orders and returns efficiently

- Completing vehicle health checks for the workshop

- Ensuring all parts are correctly located, stocked, and logged

- Logging stock discrepancies and liaising with the Parts Manager to resolve issues

- Maintaining accurate administration records and updating the parts database

- Supporting the smooth operation of the parts department to meet customer expectations

Requirements of a Parts Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Practical knowledge of computer systems and stock control processes

- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within team settings

- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
