We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a trusted logistics provider, offering immediate starts and excellent temp-to-perm opportunities.
Our client is a family-run business with over 60 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality logistics solutions to some of the UK's leading brands. They are now looking for reliable Class 1 Drivers to become part of their growing team.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be delivering palletised goods to commercial customers across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. You'll be required to open the vehicle curtain at delivery points while customers unload the goods using their own equipment, meaning there is no handball or manual unloading involved.
You'll also carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift and ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately in line with company procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established business that values its drivers.
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
Full UK Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points
To be considered, you must have held your Class 1 licence for at least 12 months, with a minimum of 6 months' commercial driving experience.
This is an ongoing, full-time position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This is a Monday to Friday role with a typical start time of 7:00am.
Pay Rates:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
£20.00 per hour (Umbrella)
You will accrue up to 28 days' holiday pro rata.
