Summary

Your New CompanyA leading construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex restoration, conservation, retrofit and refurbishment projects across the UK. Due to continued project success, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead a prestigious retrofit project in Cardiff.

Your New RoleAs Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for leading on-site operations on a major retrofit and refurbishment scheme in Cardiff, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations, including subcontractors and direct site teams.

Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and company standards.

Coordinating project activities to ensure programme milestones and deadlines are achieved.

Maintaining high-quality expertise throughout all phases of the project.

Liaising with clients, consultants, stakeholders and the wider project team.

Monitoring progress, resolving site issues and providing regular updates to senior management.

Managing works within a live-occupied environment, minimising disruption whilst maintaining project delivery.

Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on refurbishment, retrofit, education or commercial construction projects.

Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects to programme and budget.
