About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic healthcare professional who is passionate about combining clinical expertise with education.

As part of our dynamic, multiprofessional Clinical Skills team, you will:

• Work alongside highly respected educators using state-of-the-art clinical simulation technology to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on the BMBS Medical curriculum.

• Create authentic learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in clinical practice.

• Lead practical teaching sessions, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, supervise learners and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment where students can excel.

• Collaborate with academic and clinical colleagues to deliver an innovative curriculum, contribute to programme development.

• Help design new educational initiatives that enhance the student experience.

• Play an active role in strengthening partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the continued growth and reputation of the School while contributing to an inspiring and forward-thinking educational culture.

• Bring a healthcare-related degree, current professional registration as a Doctor, Nurse or Allied Health Professional, and active clinical practice, together with experience of teaching in a healthcare setting.

• Be an engaging educator with a proven ability to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide mentorship and guidance, and inspire both students and colleagues.

• Report to the Senior Clinical Skills Lecturer.
