Early Years Teacher (QTS)
£41,900 per annum | Term-Time Only | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Required | Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Are you a qualified Early Years Teacher with a passion for helping children develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need for a successful transition to school?
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher (QTS) to lead learning within their preschool room. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in a UK primary school or early years setting who is passionate about play-based learning, school readiness, and delivering exceptional early years education.
Working within a nurturing and child-centred environment, you'll play a key role in preparing children for Reception, helping them build strong foundations for future learning.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Understanding of play-based learning and school readiness
- Experience planning, delivering, and assessing learning activities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and support a team effectively

Key Responsibilities
- Lead learning and teaching within the preschool room
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Support children's development, confidence, and independence
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records
- Prepare children for a successful transition into Reception
- Work collaboratively with families to support learning and development
- Support and guide colleagues within the room
- Create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity
