Key Responsibilities

Support the Restaurant or F&B Manager in the daily running of service.
Supervise the team on shift, ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service.
Lead briefings, allocate tasks and check readiness before each service period.
Deliver warm, confident guest service and assist with handling queries or issues.
Maintain high standards across restaurant, bar and lounge areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
Help train new team members and support ongoing development.
Monitor pace of service, communicating clearly with kitchen and bar teams.
Assist with stock checks, menu knowledge, and ensuring stations are fully prepared.
Follow food safety, allergen procedures and health & safety requirements.

Person Specification

Experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
Confident communicator with strong people skills.
Ability to lead by example and support a team during busy service.
Organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
Professional, reliable and able to take initiative when needed.
Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
