Summary

A Vacancy at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

 

 This post forms part of the Clinical Systems Team, assisting the Clinical Systems Leads in supporting end users in accessing and using multiple clinical systems.

The post holder will take responsibility for providing support to the Clinical Systems Leads for a complete range of systems validation and will contribute significantly to the development of efficient monitoring routines and reporting outputs.

The post holder will support the effective management of user calls allocated to the team for response and resolution, though the use of OpenView; being responsible for user account creation, password resets, basic configuration and allocate second line support to the relevant Clinical Systems Lead where applicable.

Post holder will maintain the Clinical Systems Team Outlook inbox and will respond to users where applicable.

A major aspect of this role is the prioritisation of own workload; helping ensure that all deadlines are met.

Provide Configuration administrative support to the Trust’s informatics programme.  Working as an essential part of a wider project team implementing informatics projects across the Trust.  

Lead on specific elements of the Configuration Work Plan e.g. communications, Electronic Rotas, System Generated Letters. 

First point of contact for enquiries from end users as part of the Configuration Work Plan, supporting and training end users on an ad hoc basis. 

Develop, implement and manage the central Configuration library for logging of issues and retrieval of key documentation.

·        Act as the Configuration support lead on specific areas of the Trust’s clinical systems projects as required and in accordance with the project plans and have responsibility for specific work packages/tasks/processes.

·        Support the Configuration Team in identifying and scheduling specific tasks needed to implement and produce Configuration plans.

·        Take responsibility for specific Configuration areas, for example, Communication, Directory of Services, Electronic Rotas.

·        Produce reports to support the Configuration Manager with Configuration Work Plan tracking, maintenance of risk and issue registers.

·        Develop and implement databases and spreadsheets etc to support the Configuration Work Plan.

·        Develop and implement processes for document control, setting standards and formats for all Configuration documents, ensuring accurate version control.  Maintain a document register and library for quick and efficient access and status.

·        Develop and implement an issue logging process to ensure that all issues are logged and monitored.

·        Support the wider Configuration team in the day-to-day monitoring and delivery of their specific project deliverables.

·        Organise regular Configuration monitoring meetings, plan presentations and coordinate multi-disciplinary meetings.

·        Assist with the preparation, planning and delivery of workshops and presentations to targeted multi-disciplinary audiences.

·        Assist the Configuration Team with communications planning and stakeholder management for a project where the message is constantly changing on a day-to-day basis.

·        On-going configuration of SystmOne to meet the ‘business as usual’ needs and project requirements with the ability to solve day to day issues in a timely, efficient and accurate manner and undertaking an impact assessment to notify end users of changes.

·        To exercise particular care over any enhanced level of security access levels available to the post holder to IT infrastructures or systems, not disclosing the authentication & security information to any other party (internal or external

·        Contribute to the ongoing evaluation of the Informatics Programme by participating in individual post project review and evaluation activities.
