Summary
Barnsley - Excellent PAYE Rates - Immediate Starts
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading confectionery distribution company based in Barnsley, delivering high-quality products across the UK. Due to continued growth and fleet expansion, we are looking for professional and dependable HGV Class 1 Drivers for both day and night shifts.
Growth & Opportunities
We are needing 2 Day Drivers & 2 Night Drivers to start in July
We will then be needing a further 4 drivers to join us in August
Work available through to Christmas with strong potential for ongoing opportunities
PAYE Pay Rates:
Weekday: £16.95 per hour
Weeknight: £18.81 per hour
Saturday Day: £18.31 per hour
Saturday Night: £20.17 per hour
Sunday Day: £19.49 per hour
Sunday Night: £21.35 per hour
Shift Pattern
Days: Start times between 04:00 - 07:00
Nights: Start times between 16:00 - 19:00
Monday to Friday rota
Weekend overtime available
Your Time at Work
Responsibilities:
Class 1 depot trunking across the UK
Transport confectionery goods between depots
Ensure safe, timely, and compliant deliveries
Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately

Our Perfect Worker
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Strong understanding of driver hours & regulations
Reliable, professional and safety-focused
Previous trunking experience preferred
