Location: Torbay & Surrounding Areas (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham)
Position Type: Daily Supply, Short-Term & Long-Term Cover
Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Daily Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day (Paid to scale for long-term roles)

Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Secondary Science Teachers (QTS essential) to join partner secondary schools across Torbay and the surrounding South Devon area. Key Responsibilities
Science Cover Teaching: Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
General Cover Teacher Duties: Provide high-quality cover across a range of secondary subjects as required by schools.
Classroom & Behaviour Management: Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment in line with school policies.
Work-Life Balance: Leave at 3:30 pm with zero evening planning or marking for day-to-day supply assignments.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status is essential.
Strong classroom management skills and secondary curriculum knowledge.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
