Summary
HGV Class 1 Container Drivers Required
Location: Southampton Docks
Skipper Recruit Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for ongoing work across Southampton and surrounding ports.
We have regular work available with day, night and tramper shifts, offering both ongoing and ad hoc opportunities.
Pay Rates
Days: From£19.00 per hour
Nights: From£20.00 per hour
Trampers: From £19.00 per hour + £25.00 night out allowance
Weekends: Enhanced rates of pay
Minimum 10 hours paid per shift.
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Minimum 6 months' container driving experience
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Up-to-date port cards with access to the relevant ports
A professional and reliable attitude with a strong commitment to safety
