> About the Role

Build a career where your technical skills directly support international relations, VIP diplomatic visits, and the day-to-day operations of one of America's most prominent overseas missions. The U.S. Embassy in London is looking for a driven IT Systems Administrator to join our Diplomatic Technology (DT) Infrastructure team, and this could be your next great career move.

> What You'll Do

This isn't your typical IT job. You'll be the backbone of a high-impact environment where your work keeps critical systems running for one of the busiest US diplomatic posts in the world.

You’ll get to:

• Administer networks, enterprise applications, and endpoint devices that power Embassy operations

• Deliver hands-on Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support, solving real problems and enabling our people

• Set up vital comms infrastructure for VIP and VVIP visits, think high-profile events with high-speed connectivity on the line

• Partner with our Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and educate users on cybersecurity

• Manage infrastructure for everything from wireless and satellite to radio and media distribution systems

• Bring fresh ideas to the table and help drive innovation across the Mission

> What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of IT/networking experience and bachelor’s degree in computer networking and PBX operations, network management or utilization of computer systems.

OR 5+ years and secondary school completion.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working across networks, hardware, and cloud platforms.

• A clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to any audience.

• Fluent English speaker ready to collaborate across a diverse, global team.
