Prebook Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing that is looking to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its Early Years Foundation Stage team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare professional who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and helping children develop the confidence, curiosity and independence that will support them throughout their education.
Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you'll play a vital part in delivering an exciting Early Years curriculum through purposeful play, exploration and hands-on learning.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
- Encouraging children's language, communication and social development through meaningful interactions.
- Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, happy and confident.
- Supporting pupils during phonics, early maths and creative learning activities.
- Observing children's progress and contributing to assessment records and learning journals.
- Helping to prepare stimulating classroom displays and learning environments.
- Promoting positive behaviour, independence and good routines throughout the day.
- Working closely with families and colleagues to provide consistent support for every child.
The successful applicant will have:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting in the UK.
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- The ability to use initiative while working effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
