Summary

Are you looking for a full-time production role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established and growing company in Castle Donington?

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the manual assembly of lighting units using a variety of handheld tools and equipment. You will work as part of a supportive production team, following detailed assembly instructions and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling lighting fixtures and components accurately and efficiently

• Using handheld tools and assembly equipment safely

• Carrying out basic electrical wiring and connections as required

• Following technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules

• Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment is desirable

• Electrical assembly experience or an understanding of electrical safety

• Good manual dexterity and the ability to carry out detailed, precise work

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate!

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Hours are 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 15:30 on Fridays.

You will be paid £12.71 for this role.

Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year (pro rata).
