Job Purpose:
To support the delivery and ongoing improvement of the Highland Council’s learning and development provision. The postholder will contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of training and development activity aligned to Council priorities and workforce development needs. The role will sit within the Learning & Development Core team, however the postholder may also be required to work within the Modern Apprenticeship (MA) or Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) teams to meet operational requirements, both now and in the future. In these areas, the postholder may undertake Learning & Development Adviser duties, including supporting learners and candidates, delivering training both face to face and online, and working with services to help individuals gain the skills, experience and confidence they need.
Working closely with colleagues across the wider Learning & Development team, the postholder will help ensure learning provision is delivered effectively and learners have a positive experience across all programme areas.

Requirements
Experienced L&D facilitator, practitioner and internal consultant, including e-learning development and delivery.
Experience using Articulate 365 including Rise and Storyline
Experience using a range of learning and development methods.
