Nursery Practitioner

Full Time | 41 Hours Per Week | Up to £29,800

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and caring Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming early years setting within a beautifully converted house.

 

The nursery offers a bright, engaging, and home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and thrive. Each age-specific room has been carefully designed with stimulating toys, sensory resources, and educational learning tools to support every stage of a child’s development.

 

A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning, with children benefiting from spacious natural play areas, outdoor activities, and exciting mud kitchens that inspire curiosity, imagination, and hands-on exploration every day.

 

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years or above – Essential
  • Previous nursery or early years experience
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning through play-based and sensory activities
  • Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities to encourage development
  • Observe and monitor children’s progress and wellbeing
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and creativity
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards throughout the nursery
