Are you an experienced Vehicle Strip Fitter or MET Technician looking for your next opportunity within a professional and forward-thinking bodyshop environment?

We are recruiting skilled and motivated MET Technicians / Strip Fitters to join our client’s busy bodyshop team in Long Bennington. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise in vehicle dismantling, repairs, and refitting while working alongside a highly skilled team dedicated to returning vehicles to manufacturer-approved standards.

As a key member of the workshop, you will play an essential role in the repair process — carefully stripping damaged vehicles, preparing them for repair, and expertly refitting components to ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop looking and performing its best.

The Role:

• Carry out accurate removal of vehicle components, including body panels, mechanical parts, electrical systems, and interior trims.

• Strip damaged vehicles efficiently and safely in preparation for repair work.

• Refit and align components to restore vehicles to manufacturer-approved standards.

• Work closely with technicians and other departments to ensure smooth repair processes.

• Support the wider bodyshop team when required.

• Maintain excellent quality standards throughout every stage of the repair.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working as an MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Vehicle Technician within a bodyshop environment.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle dismantling and refitting procedures.

• A high level of attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Own tools required.

• Full UK Driving Licence required (maximum 6 points for minor offences).
