Maintenance Engineer

Avonmouth, Bristol

£40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Overtime + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension

Days Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Maintenance Engineer required for an internationally recognised company with sites across the globe. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be joining at an exciting time as the company are setting up a new manufacturing plant in Avonmouth, Bristol.

The successful Maintenance Engineer can come from any mechanical or electrical maintenance background. Experience in a heavier industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Day to day, the Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, valves, compressors, filters, rotary equipment and piping systems.

The site is expected to become operational later this year so you can initially expect to be involved in the set up and commissioning of new equipment to familiarise yourself.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

· Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance

· Working on conveyors, valves, compressors etc.

· Support shutdown

· Ensure equipment operates safely

The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

· Mechanically or electrically biased

· Maintenance experience
