Summary

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable independent garage located in Crawley, West Sussex. Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their busy team, contributing to the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles.

Duties:

- Conduct vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs to high standards and safety regulations

- Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments

- Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components accurately and efficiently

- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

- Identify additional faults during inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers and management

- Maintain accurate inspection and repair records

- Support team with other workshop responsibilities as required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills

- Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to licence checks)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to customers

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
