Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Peterborough

This modern multi vet small animal practice in Peterborough is seeking a dynamic Lead Veterinary Surgeon to inspire, develop and guide their growing team. With high output digital x-ray, advanced ultrasound with doppler and cardiology software, endoscopy and a fully equipped dental suite with dental x-ray, the practice has everything you need to deliver exceptional care while driving clinical standards forward.

You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team made up of 2 experienced Vets, 2 RVNs, a VCA and 2 CCAs, all committed to providing gold-standard treatment and an outstanding client experience. This is a role where your leadership skills will shine — you’ll mentor and support your colleagues, share best practices, and help shape a progressive and positive clinical culture. With a varied caseload and a supportive environment, there’s plenty of opportunity to grow your own expertise and develop the practice’s offering.

Whether you bring a medical bias to complement the existing team or you’re an all-rounder, your ability to lead with empathy and clarity will help this practice continue to thrive. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you’ll also have the chance to influence the commercial direction of the clinic, making strategic decisions that balance outstanding care with operational success.
