Class 1 (C+E) Weekend Day Driver - Tamworth
The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Weekend Day Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekday work with early starts, straightforward duties, and guaranteed minimum pay.
Pay & Hours
- £18.00 ph Sat, £20.00 ph Sun
- Saturdays & Sundays
- Day shifts
- Various start times
- 45-minute unpaid break
- Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier
Duties
- Trunking nationwide from the Tamworth depot
- Trailer swaps
- No handballing involved
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Providing a professional and reliable service
Requirements
- Minimum 6 month's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
