The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering company in Atherstone. This CNC Programmer role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern, competitive pay, and long-term stability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer to secure ongoing work in Atherstone within the manufacturing industry, working on a variety of precision-engineered components.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
- Online programming using Heidenhain control systems
- Working with universal bed-type milling machines and heads
- Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
- Completing your own quality inspections
- Safely using overhead cranes where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
- Experience with Heidenhain control systems
- Background working with medium to large fabrications and castings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
