Winner Education are working with a secondary school in the Sutton Coldfield (B74) area who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position covering a long-term sickness absence, with the successful candidate teaching Geography across all secondary key stages following the AQA specification.
This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students' understanding of the world around them while delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons.
What You'll Do:
•
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
•
Teach the AQA Geography curriculum effectively
•
Monitor, assess, and track student progress
•
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
•
Support students in developing their geographical knowledge and analytical skills
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high academic standards
What We're Looking For:
•
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
•
Recent experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
•
Ability to teach Geography across all secondary key stages
•
Strong knowledge of the AQA Geography specification
•
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
•
Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
