Summary

We are looking for a reliable, flexible and caring Domestic staff member to join our friendly care home team. This is an important role in helping us maintain a clean, safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will have a genuine empathy for older and vulnerable people and will understand the importance of respecting residents’ dignity, privacy and personal space while cleaning their rooms and shared areas of the home.

• Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard across residents’ rooms, communal areas and staff areas.

• Help maintain a safe, hygienic and pleasant environment throughout the home.

• Work respectfully around residents, visitors and colleagues.

• Follow cleaning schedules, infection prevention procedures and health and safety guidance.

• Support the wider team by being flexible and willing to help where needed.
