Summary

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE

Hours: Flexible 37hr week Mon-Fri

Location: Abingdon

Our client is a precision machining company, run by engineers, not accountants, providing a complete one-stop-shop service for high quality, low quantity prototype and experimental components and assemblies. They love high quality complex components and short lead times. A specialist in short, they are a specialist sub-contract manufacturer, with CNC and full assembly capabilities.

What’s the job?

â¦ Work in all types of raw material from Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Brass through to Plastics.

â¦ Small batch work

â¦ Doosan Puma machines with Fanuc

Responsibilities

â¦ Good communication and interpersonal skills

â¦ Effective problem-solving skills

â¦ Ability to work alone or as part of a small team

â¦ Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

â¦ Previous experience within the aerospace tool making industry advantageous

â¦ Engineering apprenticeship as a tool maker or equivalent
