Exchange People are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Site Operative for a busy chemical manufacturing site in Speke, Liverpool. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role paying £17.54 per hour, with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity available.
Job Details
- Location: Speke, Liverpool
- Pay: £17.54 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunity
What we’re looking for
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, chemical or industrial environments.
- Good safety awareness, ideally including COSHH, SDS or COMAH standards.
Main Duties
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely around site.
- Support blending, mixing, liquid transfers and chemical handling tasks.
- Follow COSHH, COMAH, PPE and site safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organised and hazard-free.
- Report accidents, near misses, spills, hazards or equipment faults promptly.
