Vehicle Service Advisor opportunity in Salisbury

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Salisbury, is seeking an experienced and professional Vehicle Service Advisor to join their Service Department due to business expansion. Duties:

- Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner, discussing and confirming their vehicle requirements

- Work closely with the workshop team to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction

- Keep customers informed about vehicle repair progress, providing technical and commercial advice

- Prepare accurate cost estimates and explain repair options, including accessories and optional extras

- Manage vehicle collection and delivery to meet scheduled timings

- Ensure precise capturing and updating of all customer and vehicle data using Kerridge DMS or equivalent systems

- Raise and process repair orders, ensuring work is completed on schedule and standards are met

- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing

- Oversee subcontracted repairs, confirming work completion

- Utilise technical information and manufacturer systems efficiently

- Maintain warranty documentation and parts for warranty claims

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is desirable but not essential

- Strong customer service, communication, organisation, and IT skills

- Experience with Kerridge DMS or Onelink is advantageous

- Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points

- A proactive attitude and a willingness to undertake full training provided by our client
