Summary

Our client is a modern, manufacturer-approved bodyshop in Solihull, West Midlands, recruiting for an experienced Alloy Wheel Technician to repair, refurbish and refinsh alloy wheels to the highest standards.

- Basic salary £30,000

- OTE £35,000+ with uncapped bonus

- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (flexible start and finish times)

- 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am to 1:00pm

Duties as a Alloy Wheel Technician will include:

- Repair and refurbish alloy wheels to manufacturer standards

- Prepare wheels for refinishing, including sanding, filling, and surface preparation

- Carry out cosmetic repairs to damaged alloy wheels

- Apply paint and lacquer finishes to a high standard

- Complete work within agreed timescales, maintaining efficiency and quality targets

- Maintain attention to detail and consistent workmanship in a busy bodyshop environment

- Follow health and safety procedures and adhere to shop-floor standards

Requirements for the Alloy Wheel Technician:

- Proven experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician, wheel refurbishment technician, or similar bodyshop role

- Strong knowledge of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment techniques

- Ability to maintain quality standards while working efficiently

- Excellent time management and organisational skills

- Full UK driving licence preferred

- High-quality finish standards and a customer-focused approach
