Summary

We are representing a reputable premium automotive retailer in Solihull seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a modern, manufacturer-led workshop with opportunities for career development and industry-leading facilities.

- Basic salary up to £36,000 dependent on experience

- Realistic OTE of £40,000 - £45,000+ with overtime paid at 1.5x rate

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a Saturday rota of 1 in 3/4, 8:30am - 12:30pm (additional Saturdays available if desired)

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:

- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Diagnose faults efficiently using advanced diagnostic equipment

- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work as required

- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer procedures and standards

- Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation

- Collaborate effectively with the wider workshop and aftersales team

- Support a safe, clean, and organised working environment

Requirements:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

- Proven experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT certification advantageous but not essential

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
