Summary
Maan Transport Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, inspecting, and repairing our fleet of HGV vehicles to ensure they remain safe, roadworthy, and compliant with UK transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate equipment
Complete safety inspections and vehicle checks
Repair and replace vehicle components including brakes, suspension, engines, gearboxes, and electrical systems
Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Respond quickly to vehicle breakdowns and maintenance issues
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
