The Opportunity:

Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a welcoming specialist provision in the Rugby area from September 2026.

The school supports pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties. The provision prides itself on delivering a personalised, nurturing curriculum where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to inclusive education and enjoys working within a supportive, child-centred environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN

* Develop personalised learning programmes linked to EHCP outcomes

* Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

* Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development

* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents

* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary

* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence

* Contribute to annual reviews and support the implementation of EHCP targets

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential

* Experience teaching within a Primary or Specialist SEN setting

* Strong understanding of Autism (ASD), SEMH, and other additional learning needs

* Experience delivering highly differentiated lessons and supporting EHCP outcomes

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Passion for inclusive education and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
