Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting for a SEMH PE Teacher to join a well-established specialist school in Warwick, Warwickshire on a temp-to-perm basis.

This rewarding PE Teacher job is suitable for teachers with either a primary or secondary teaching background. If you're passionate about using sport and physical education to build confidence, resilience and positive relationships with young people, we'd love to hear from you.

The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and offers a welcoming environment where staff are genuinely valued. With small class sizes, experienced teaching assistants and supportive leadership, you'll have the time and resources to deliver engaging PE lessons while making a real difference to pupils' lives.

- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for pupils with SEMH needs.

- Adapt learning to suit individual abilities and education plans.

- Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, participation and resilience.

- Create a structured, inclusive and safe learning environment.

- Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and senior leaders to support pupil progress.

- Promote teamwork, healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour through sport.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching Physical Education in UK schools

- Applications welcome from Primary Teachers and Secondary PE Teachers

- Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills

- A positive, resilient and flexible approach

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Experience within SEMH, SEND, Alternative Provision (AP), PRU or Special Education is welcomed but not essential if you have strong classroom management and are passionate about supporting young people.

- Competitive daily pay of £160-£220 per day
