Summary

HGV Class 1 Driver – Temp to Perm

Location: Desborough, Kettering

Ideal Recruit is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers for a well-established client based in Desborough, Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work or temp-to-perm roles.

Duties & Responsibilities

•

Completing RDC to RDC deliveries and collections (trunking).

•

Conducting pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.

•

Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records and delivery documentation.

Pay Rates

•

Mon – Fri Days: £16.40 per hour

(£18.38 inc. holiday)

•

Mon – Fri Nights: £17.42 per hour

(£19.53 inc. holiday)

•

Saturday: £17.42 per hour

(£19.53 inc. holiday)

•

Sunday & Bank Holidays: £19.47 per hour

(£21.83 inc. holiday)

Requirements

•

Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) entitlement.

•

Experience: Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.

•

Cards: Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

•

Endorsements: Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements (no major convictions).

Additional Information

•

Candidates will be required to pass a driver assessment (approx. 4 hours).

•

Assessment time is

paid in full upon successful completion.
