Summary

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Maths practitioner who has the ability to deliver inspirational teaching and learning. Candidates will have experience in teaching Maths at GCSE Level. They will also have a strong desire to share a love of Maths and motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will have experience of consistently good teaching and learning delivery methods including the use of innovative Information Learning Technologies and individualised learning plans. The successful candidate will be required to manage and support diverse groups of learners through maths programmes in GCSE Maths and some possibility of teaching Functional Skills Maths; delivering to learners from across a range of courses including vocational resit learners. This will require a clear understanding of strategies for raising performance and using monitoring and evaluation processes to improve student progress.
