Summary

As a Junior Sous Chef at The White House, Inverness, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.

You will help lead the kitchen team during service, assist with training and development, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie looking to progress or an established Junior Sous Chef seeking a new challenge.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen.

* Leading the kitchen during service in the absence of senior chefs.

* Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.

* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with HACCP procedures.

* Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste.

* Supporting, coaching and developing junior members of the kitchen team.

* Ensuring a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.

* Contributing to menu development and daily specials where required.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering **up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)**, **card tips**, and opportunities for career progression.
